Billing / Receivables Viewing the Receivables Report

All outstanding billing entries billed and not billed, can be viewed in Receivables section within the  Billing module. Billing entries are added to the receivables near real-time after being posted.

To view your organization’s receivables:

  1. Navigate to the  Billing module and select Receivables
  2. All receivables will be displayed in the receivables table with options on the top to view entries By Payor, By Client, by Date of Service, or First Billed
    • By Payor: will display all entries by the payor name (insurance and private)
      • Click the + icon on the left-hand side of the entry to expand the payor and view the specific insurance plan and client name
        • Click the + icon on the left-hand side of the client name to expand and view the outstanding billing entries
          • Click the billing entry ID link or the outstanding amount to be redirected to the billing entry
    • By Client: will display all entries by the client name
      • Click the + icon on the left-hand side of the entry to expand the client and view the specific insurance plan
        • Click the + icon on the left-hand side of the plan name to expand and view the outstanding billing entries
          • Click the billing entry ID link or the outstanding amount to be redirected to the billing entry
    • Date of Service: this is the default view of the entries in the receivables page. All billing entries billed and not billed, are displayed in this view (including timesheet conversions) by date of service
    • First Billed: this view only displays receivable entries that have been billed. Non billed entries will be excluded from this view
  3. The columns on top of the grid provide details on the receivable aging, the outstanding insurance amount, and the outstanding patient responsibility amount
    • 0-30: the entry is 0 to 30 days old
    • 30-60: the entry is 31 to 60 days old
    • 60-90: the entry is 61 to 90 days old
    • 90-120: the entry is 91 to 120 days old
    • >120: the entry is more than 121 days old

To download a report:

  1. Click the cloud  icon on the top right-hand side, and select CSV or Text File
  2. Click Go to Files to access and download the report from the  Files module

Billing / Receivables Sorting the Receivables Table

You can sort the Receivables table by client, payor, insurance or patient responsibility amounts, to easily identify which payors and clients owe you the most over a given range.

To access and sort your Receivables:

  1. Navigate to the  Billing module and select Receivables
  2. If toggled By Payor, click over the Payor text header column to sort payors alphabetically
  3. If toggled By Client, click over the Client text header column to sort clients alphabetically
  4. Click the Insurance text in the header column to sort by insurance amount
  5. Click the Patient Responsibility text in the header column to sort by the patient responsibility amount
