Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) / Address Management How to Download the Address Management Report

To download the Address Management report:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts module and select Utilities & Tools
  2. Click Address Management
  3. Select a date range and apply filters
  4. Click the download icon on the right-hand side
  5. Click Go to Files to view the file in the Files module

The following columns are in the Address Management export:

  1. Status 
  2. ContactId
  3. TypeId
  4. Name
  5. FirstName
  6. LastName
  7. Company
  8. AddressLine1
  9. AddressLine2
  10. City 
  11. StateProvince
  12. ZipPostalCode

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) / Address Management How to Edit an Address from the Address Management Screen

Users with the (Utilities > Manage Address Management) permission enabled can edit and geolocate individual addresses from the Address Management screen.

To edit a single address from the Address Management screen:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts module and select Utilities & Tools
  2. Click Address Management
  3. Click the pencil icon on the right-hand side of the address
  4. Complete the “Edit address” pop-up:

    • When entering Address line 1, select the address from the populated results. Doing this will populate the address’ timezone, latitude, and longitude.
      • If the “Latitude” and “Longitude” fields have been added or updated, then the address’ “Status” in the Address Management screen will display as “Geolocated.”
      • Addresses that do not populate in the search results can be edited manually, but cannot be geolocated.
    • Please note, when selecting a geolocated address from the search results, the “Address line 2” and “Location name” will remain the same.
  5. Click Update to save changes

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) / Address Management How to Geolocate Addresses in Bulk

Users with the (Utilities > Manage Address Management) permission enabled can edit and geolocate multiple addresses from the Address Management screen.

To geolocate address in bulk:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts module and select Utilities & Tools
  2. Click Address Management
  3. Click the checkboxes next to each address being geolocated
    • Or, click the checkbox next to “Contact” to select all addresses on display.
  4. Click Geolocate Selected on the left-hand side, next to the number of selected addresses
  5. In the “Verify geolocated results” pop-up, click Apply changes to save all geolocated addresses

    • All addresses are checked by default, but users can uncheck addresses if needed.
    • Click the ! to view any addresses that failed to geolocate. In the “Address conflicts” pop-up, click OK to exit the pop-up.

    • If not saving geolocated addresses, click Discard Changes and then Continue in the “Discard changes” pop-up.

The number of geolocated addresses will display at the bottom of the screen.

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) / Address Management / CR Mobile / Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) How to Use GPS Service Validation with CR Mobile

Premium CR Mobile users can utilize GPS service validation when completing appointments. This helps organizations keep track of where and when employees delivered services for auditing and Medicaid agency submission. Please note, preparation should be done prior to completing the usual CR Mobile appointment process.

To utilize GPS service validation with CR Mobile:

  1. Complete the steps included in the Preparing for GPS Service Validation help article.
  2. Ensure the appropriate CR Mobile permissions are enabled
  3. Start and complete an appointment in CR Mobile
  4. Complete Session Notes
  5. Review draft timesheets and approve exceptions, if applicable

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) / Address Management How to View Activity in the Address Management Screen

To view the activity made to addresses in the Address Management screen:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts module and select Utilities & Tools
  2. Click Address Management
  3. Click Activity History
  4. Filter the “Activity history” pop-up by:
    • Date range: click the calendar icon to view addresses last updated within a timeframe
      • Please note, updates made within the last 7 days will display by default.
    • Contact: enter the name of a contact in  Search contacts… to view updates made by that contact.

 

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) / Address Management / CR Mobile / Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Preparing for GPS Service Validation

To utilize GPS service validation, users must have Visit Verification enabled on the appropriate service codes and access to the premium version of CR Mobile. Users can then utilize the “EVV Visit Export,” which is useful for GPS service validation, auditing, and Medicaid agency submission.

  1. Enable Visit Verification in the service code(s)
  2. Create “GPS” service code labels and attach them to the GPS codes
  3. Geolocate client addresses and/or office locations. Users can utilize Address Management to bulk geolocate addresses.
    • Please note, for recurring appointments without geolocated addresses, new appointments must be created to enable geocoded locations.
  4. Enable the following Draft Timesheets permissions and access for:
    • Providers: (Draft Timesheets > Access) and (Draft Timesheets > Submit Draft) to correct and submit their own non-GPS exception draft timesheets.
    • Draft timesheet approvers: (Draft Timesheets > Access) and (Draft Timesheets > Manage) to correct and submit GPS exception draft timesheets.
  5. Enable Session Notes and Session Note Templates permissions and access for:
    • Session Note Template creators: (Session Templates > Access), (Session Templates > Add New Templates), and (Session Templates > Delete Templates) to access, create, and delete Templates, as well as add Templates to service codes.
    • Providers: (Session Notes > Add Note) and (Session Notes > Edit Note) to complete and add notes via timesheets.
    • Admins and billing teams: (Session Notes > Unlock), (Session Notes > Delete) to unlock and delete a Session Note via timesheets.
  6. Create Session Note Templates and associate them with service codes.
  7. Enable CR Mobile permissions and access for:
    • Providers: (CR Mobile > Access) and (Map > Access).
  8. Complete CR Mobile appointments, as expected.

After completing these steps, appointment details (including GPS-stamped start time, end time, signatures, etc.,) will appear in the EVV Visit Report located in the Practice Auditing section of the Insights module.
